» About Dojo"

History of TEN-CHI Dojo

Opening of our dojo has taken place on September 13, 1992 with the assistance of the representative Hombu Dojo, student of Moriteru Ueshiba - Mori Senuti (4th dan).

Since foundation date, Dojo is supervised by shihan's of World Centre Aikido Hombu Dojo.

During its existence, Dojo has organized and carried out more than twenty international seminars under the guidance of such shihan's as Yasunari Kitaura, Shigeru Sugawara, Eiji Katsurada.

Today at TEN-CHI Dojo pacticing aikido more than 200 children and over 100 adults, among which 2 students achieved 4th dan. TEN-CHI Dojo Yudansha list you can see here.

Dojo prepared 5 professional Aikido instructors:
- Oleg Katynskii (4th dan)
- Olga Zvereva (3th dan)
- Anastasia Zakharova (3th dan)
- Anton Piranashvili (2th dan)
- Rustam Gadzhiev (2th dan) 


Each year Dojo birthday is celebrated by the open Aikido demontration, on which kids and black belts show their aikido skills. In September 2012, TEN-CHI Dojo celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Being an organizer of large number of Aikido demonstrations at various events and festivals, activity of TEN-CHI Dojo not only contributes to spiritual development, morality education and technical training of the Dojo members, but popularized Aikido in our city.
